Solution Architect Customer Technology (12-Month Day Rate Contract)

About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity to lead and govern a portfolio of architecture and design initiatives within the Customer business unit.

You will be responsible for architecting solutions across Marketing or Contact Centre technologies ensuring they are cloud-native scalable resilient and secure. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders you will help define the current and future state recommend cost-effective solutions and drive the adoption of modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS to support customer-facing applications portals APIs CRM and integration layers.

  • Business Alignment Translate business needs into technology solutions ensuring alignment with strategic outcomes.

  • Innovation & Evaluation Assess and recommend emerging technologies (AI data platforms customer engagement solutions) to enable digital innovation.

  • Standards & Governance Review technical papers provide analysis and recommendations to senior architecture leadership.

  • Best Practice Delivery Champion DevOps Infrastructure-as-Code API-first design automation and continuous delivery across solution delivery.

  • Cost & Performance Recommend solutions that enhance cost efficiency flexibility and operational resilience.

About You

You will bring a proven track record of delivering complex solution architecture across large-scale cloud environments. Key skills and experience include:

  • Qualifications Tertiary degree in IT or related discipline or equivalent experience (Cloud certifications desirable).

  • Architecture Expertise Strong background in solution architecture across multiple domains within large organisations.

  • Customer Technology Delivery Experience delivering solutions across customer channels: web mobile APIs portals self-service platforms CRM and marketing technologies.

  • Cloud & Microservices Expertise in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures ideally on AWS.

  • Engineering Mindset Strong software engineering principles applied to architecture across systems processes and applications.

  • Collaboration & Influence Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and achieve win-win outcomes.

  • Ways of Working Exposure to Agile and DevOps environments.

  • Industry Insight Awareness of industry trends and how digital technologies can enhance customer engagement and experience.
