Note: This position requires employees to work on a hybrid schedule with four days per week on-site in either the Miami or Tampa office (subject to change after the first 90 days).

Job Description
- Manage litigation and bankruptcy docketing and calendaring for attorneys and paralegals across multiple practice groups
- Calculate and calendar critical deadlines using rules-based docketing software (Compulaw strongly preferred)
- Review pleadings motions and court documents for date-sensitive information and ensure timely notifications
- Research and gather case party and court information through databases such as PACER Westlaw and CourtDrive
- Provide guidance on local state and federal court rules filing procedures and deadlines
- Create and distribute docket reports and apply quality control measures for accuracy and risk management
- Collaborate closely with attorneys paralegals and staff in weekly team meetings and ongoing projects
- Support miscellaneous docketing and research assignments as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in litigation or bankruptcy docketing with rules-based docketing software (Compulaw preferred)
- Strong knowledge of local state and federal court rules and filing procedures
- Familiarity with litigation and bankruptcy case phases from initiation through appeal
- Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills detail orientation and ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attorneys staff and court personnel
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
