Job Title: Purchaser / Procurement Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Purchaser to join our team at a high-end residential home building company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and material sourcing within the construction industry with direct experience using CoConstruct project management software. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Source purchase and manage delivery of construction materials finishes and supplies for high-end residential projects.
Negotiate pricing contracts and terms with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
Maintain and manage purchase orders budgets and job costing through CoConstruct.
Collaborate closely with project managers site supervisors and designers to meet project timelines and specifications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers subcontractors and trade partners.
Track inventory levels monitor lead times and resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
Ensure all purchasing activities align with company standards specifications and client expectations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Purchaser Procurement Specialist or similar role in residential construction (luxury or custom home experience preferred).
Hands-on experience with CoConstruct is required.
Strong knowledge of construction materials finishes and industry pricing.
Excellent negotiation organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple project demands simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
