Job Summary
Veterinary Assistant Full-Time (No Weekends)
Location: Oradell New Jersey
Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Animal Care of Oradell a privately owned small animal veterinary clinic is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about animals and wants to support high-quality veterinary care in a positive team-oriented environment.
Youll work closely with our technicians and veterinarians playing a vital role in ensuring the health and comfort of the pets we serve.

Primary Responsibilities
After training your key duties will include:
Safely restraining pets during exams and treatments
Ensuring kennel areas are clean and comfortable
Preparing medications accurately
Updating patient records in our electronic medical system
Assisting with curbside service and transporting pets in and out of the clinic
Communicating with clients about their pets visit and follow-up care
We welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow in a clinical setting. Training will be provided to candidates who bring strong communication skills and a passion for animal care.
What Were Looking For
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Tech-savvy and able to learn new software quickly
Positive attitude and genuine interest in veterinary medicine
A team player who takes initiative and supports others
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
No weekends

Starting at $16.00 per hour (negotiable based on skills and experience)
