HRIS Specialist

The Human Resources Information System Specialist supports Karis Disability Services by ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of the companys HRIS system providing expertise and training regarding data entry configuration problem-solving and policies and procedures. They provide ongoing support and guidance to all levels of the organization regarding the use of the HRIS. Consulting with the HRIS Team Leader the HRIS Specialist recommends a course of action on decisions that result in major changes to specified procedures. The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the improvement of the database structure and internal practices. They work as a team with the Human Resources Department and various supporting roles within the Waterloo Office to promote analyze and develop effective Human Resources practices and information for the best interests of all employees within Karis Disability Services relating to the HRIS.
