LCRA is looking for a motivated individual to join our panel fabrication team! This position plays an important role in the electric utility industry of central Texas. As a panel fabricator you will construct and wire transmission-related electrical panels sub panels and cabinets. You will be trusted to:
- Install wiring in relay control substation panels and cabinets according to blueprints.
- Ensure that all components and wiring are built to the exact engineering plans standards and specifications.
- Inspect and maintain equipment in assigned work area.
- Maintain tools and equipment and a clean work area.
- Support process improvement program and is encouraged to explore efficiency improvements.
- Complete work within budget and deadlines.
You qualify with:
- Zero or more years of experience in construction assembly or maintenance of relay and control panels or equipment or relevant experience.
You are a great fit with:
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of electrical circuit theory.
- Skill in use of handheld manual and power tools.
- Basic skill in reading and interpreting diagrams and prints.
