Level 1: $18.73(minimum) - $23.41(midpoint) - $28.09(maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime
Level 2: $20.92(minimum) - $26.15(midpoint) - $31.38(maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

Woodward in Loves Park IL is hiring for a 2nd shift M-Th (3:24pm-1:54am) Operations Technician to support our B300 Okuma LB3000 Okuma & Tsugami Machines at our Loves Park Campus. This individual will be responsible for manufacturing aerospace parts and components. If you are an experienced machine operator or are looking to advance your manufacturing skills apply now!
What You Will Be Doing
Setting up and operating CNC Okuma Lathe performing tool offsets and changes.
Using company specific databases and systems to locate work instructions.
Performing manufacturing processes on various steel bar stock
Reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T to verifying products are in spec to customer and company requirements.
Documenting processes and using inspection equipment (calipers mics gauges CMM inspection equipment.
What We Are Looking For
Level 1:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience setting up B3000 Okuma & Tsugami machines preferred
Basic Mechanical aptitude preferred
Basic computer skills (email data entry etc.) preferred
Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred
Level 2:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1-year of applicable experience is required
Previous experience setting up B3000 Okuma & Tsugami machines preferred
Basic Mechanical aptitude preferred
Basic computer skills (email data entry etc.) preferred
Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred
