Job Summary
Overview
Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL) a Planned Systems International (PSI) company is hiring for a Work Control Planner in Richland WA.
This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland WA and operates manages and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering Inc. (Oak Ridge TN) and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg MD).
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision:
- Analyze planning processes for efficiency and make recommendations to management.
- Prepare and/or verify accuracy of work orders and work activity schedules.
- Conduct planning meetings and provide planning status to project schedules.
- Prepare track and control work orders required to accomplish assigned activities.
- Provide miscellaneous planning as required by manager.
- Review and analyze work documents for proper classification priority and description.
- Prepare work documents in accordance with work control processes and procedures.
- With input from field work supervision estimate and establish man hours material and manpower needed for job completion.
- Support material requisition.
- Develop work orders for low and medium risk/complexity jobs.
- Assist in the development of complex work orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree (BS/BA) and 2 years practical work experience in maintenance or related area or an equivalent combination of education (e.g. trade school degree) and directly related experience.
- Knowledge of operational maintenance work activities and preventive maintenance planning is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance or construction craft experience or Field Work Supervision experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of operational maintenance work activities and preventive maintenance planning at 222-S Laboratory or Category 3 Nuclear Facilities is desired.
Compensation
Grade 14: $77969 - $91975
Grade 15: $80225 - $101175
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidates education training and/or relevant experience.
