Whats the role
We are looking for a passionate and driven Data Scientist to join our AI Services team where you will play a key role in building a centre of excellence in data science aligned with the banks strategic priorities. Our teams mission is to create better futures by empowering our people to deliver value to our customers through AI capabilities and promoting data responsibilities.
As a Data Scientist in this team you will lead the design and delivery of end to end data science and AI initiatives that have real impact across the organisation. You will work closely with technology partners and business stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high quality customer focused solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the banks data and AI agenda by transforming insights into actions that enhance decision making optimise operations and elevate customer experiences. Your work will demonstrate the value of data science through practical application technical excellence and tangible business outcomes.
Please note: This position is open to candidates based interstate.
What do I need
- 4 years of industry experience in developing and deploying ML models for various applications with a strong track record of delivering successful AI solutions including some experience in LLMs in a business context.
- Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) with a proven ability to leverage these technologies to drive business value and innovation.
- Deep understanding of the latest advancements in deep learning reinforcement learning and generative models with a proven track record of building and deploying successful applications/solutions in this field is desirable.
- Experience in developing models using frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or Keras.
- Expertise in the following areas: natural language processing or computer vision Methods: NLP LLM GenAI Open AI Microsoft Cognitive Services Audio to text text mining NLP Image recognition Machine Learning.
- Experience building solutions leveraging frameworks such as LlamaIndex LangChain AutoGen DSPy etc.
- Familiarity with Graph databases and their usage pattern.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with Azure AWS Platforms or other cloud platforms.
