Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be certified to manage the patient flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of their patients throughout all phases of a womans life.

This role will also require the ability to become certified as a Phlebotomist. OGI will cover the costs associated with certification with a one (1) year commitment to role after obtaining the certification.

This is a full-time position working M-F from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm out of our Edina clinic.

ogi Obstetrics Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:
  • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient recording medical history confirming purpose of visit.
  • Measure vital signs including weight blood pressure pulse temperature and document all information in patients chart. (all indicated)
  • Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
  • Performs in-house testing including UA Hemoglobin 1-hour glucose and 3-hour glucose.
  • Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms as needed.
  • Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or nurse practitioner.
  • Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies maintain instruments prepare sterilization as required.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Successful completion of the state of MN administered Nursing Assistant certification exam OR active registry as a Nursing Assistant in the state of MN
  • Phlebotomy certified or willing to obtain phlebotomy certification after hire

Benefits & Compensation:

  • Actual starting pay will vary based on education skills and experience.
  • A $750.00 sign-on bonus will be offered payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
