About The Job:
Manages the daily clinic operations selection and development of staff and financial operation of assigned clinics. Responsible for new provider practice start-up and physician scheduling. Works collaboratively with the Mason City Clinic (MCC) revenue cycle colleagues administration and other support colleagues to optimize services and outcomes of the MercyOne Specialty Clinic departments. Leads improvement initiatives to achieve high levels of customer service and financial outcomes.
What we are looking for:
Education: Bachelor Degree in business or approved course of study required.
Experience:
Two years in supervisory capacity coaching/leader role.
Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
Lean experience preferred.
Special Skills Competencies and Aptitudes:
Demonstrates ability and knowledge in the area of management.
Able to set and organize own work priorities with high degree of initiative and judgment.
Familiarity with computer applications in healthcare.
Ability to work with a variety of people of diverse backgrounds.
Strong written and verbal skills financial knowledge of high reasoning ability.
Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider American Heart Association; or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status.
Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.
