In this role you will be the manufacturing expert on the production floor to develop maintain and improve the manufacturing process for a range of specialized acoustic products used by the naval fleets of the U.S. and allies in terms of safety quality and productivity.Nationality Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Writing Operating Procedures and Work Instructions and training Production Operators on their content.
A Lean advocate who will be a key member in Lean events and thinking with a Lean mindset for day-to-day activity.
Design and delivery of tooling and fixtures.
A problem solver who is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues on the production floor.
Member of the MRB team who develops Corrective Actions for Nonconformances.
Experience Required:
BS degree in Industrial Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
5 years equivalent work experience; equivalent relevant work experience.
Experience in an industry that follows strict adherence to documentation
Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.
Desired Skills:
A problem solver who is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues on the production floor.
Versatile engineer who can support multiple programs.
Experience working in an ESD safe environment.
Knowledge of electrical test protocols.
A strong communicator both written and verbal.
