An established and forward-thinking secondary school in York is seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join its vibrant and well-resourced Art department. Your Role:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with potential to contribute to KS5.
- Inspire students to develop their artistic skills critical thinking and confidence in self-expression.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and enrichment opportunities.
- Support school-wide creative initiatives and participate in the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS and a relevant degree in Art Design or a related subject.
- Have experience teaching Art at KS3 and GCSE level (KS5 experience an advantage).
- Be creative passionate and committed to nurturing talent and enthusiasm in all learners.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge classroom management and a desire to innovate.
- Be legally eligible to work in the UK.
