Are you a newly qualified Geography Teacher looking for the perfect place to begin your teaching career

An inclusive and well-regarded secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking a passionate Geography ECT to join its successful Humanities department from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to develop their skills in a nurturing and forward-thinking school environment.

Location: Huddersfield West Yorkshire

Start Date: January 2026

Salary: Paid to scale (ECT pay scale)

Your Role:

  • Engage with the wider school community and contribute to enrichment opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a newly qualified Geography teacher (or due to complete training by January 2026)
  • Hold QTS and a degree in Geography or a related subject
  • Be enthusiastic reflective and committed to professional growth
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
