Job Description
We are currently seeking a History ECT to join a well-established secondary school in Newcastle.
Full-time History ECT position available from January 2026
Supportive Humanities Department with experienced mentors
Great opportunity for a new teacher to gain classroom confidence and curriculum knowledge
You will be teaching History across KS3 and GCSE contributing to a department that values critical thinking and enquiry-based learning.
Experience and Qualifications
Newly qualified or ECT in History
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the past
QTS and relevant teaching qualification
