Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute media buying strategies across channels (digital social programmatic TV radio OOH print as needed).
  • Negotiate rates placements and added value with media vendors to maximize ROI.
  • Manage campaign set-up trafficking pacing and optimization to ensure delivery and performance.
  • Monitor analyze and report on campaign results providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (strategy creative analytics client services) to ensure alignment of media with overall campaign objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with media trends platform updates and emerging channels in the Canadian market.
  • Manage budgets and ensure campaigns deliver within scope and timelines.

Requirements

  • 24 years of media buying experience (agency or in-house).
  • Hands-on experience with digital buying platforms (Google Ads Meta Programmatic DSPs); exposure to traditional buying an asset.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and campaign management tools.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian media landscape is required.
