Nurse Practitioner - Heart Failure ICU - FT Nights

Salary:
Annual Salary: $135000 - $147000
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients in the Heart Failure ICU focusing on assessment diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Monitor patients progress and adjust plans as necessary collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding health management treatment options and preventive measures.
- Perform advanced clinical procedures and manage critical care interventions as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Nursing or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in Texas.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Experience in managing heart failure patients or similar conditions preferred.
- Proficient in performing advanced critical care procedures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
