The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care within an ICU setting focusing on patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with patients providers and the interdisciplinary team. The ICU is a 6 bed medical ICU in a rural setting.
The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care within an ICU setting focusing on patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning. Location:Clifton Springs New York United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the ICU.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the ICU.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York State (in hand).
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care/ICU experience.
- ACLS certification.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York State (in hand).

Special Considerations:
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius.
- Day/night rotation required.
- Every other weekend rotation.

- 3x12-hour shifts per week.
