About the Role:
We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will work with children aged 05 supporting their development and ensuring a safe nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and deliver activities that support childrens learning and development across all areas.
- Observe and assess childrens progress maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Promote positive behaviour and help children develop social emotional and communication skills.
- Build strong relationships with children parents and colleagues.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe clean and welcoming.
- Work as part of a team to deliver consistent and high standards of care.
- Participate in staff meetings training and professional development.
Requirements:
- Relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years).
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience empathy and a genuine love of working with children.
- First Aid and Safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to train).
