Role Overview:
The client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site solar energy construction projects. This role is critical for ensuring projects are completed safely on schedule and in compliance with specifications budgets and quality standards. The Construction Superintendent will coordinate with subcontractors project managers clients and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage all on-site construction activities including scheduling subcontractor coordination and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications safety protocols building codes and OSHA standards.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with project managers to resolve issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs progress reports and change orders.
- Collaborate with clients architects and engineers to ensure successful project completion.
- Supervise and mentor construction crew members providing guidance and support.
- Manage project budgets monitor expenses and track labor and material costs.
- Travel to project sites as required.
Requirements / Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar on-site management role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods codes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Electrical License is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints plans and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems especially solar construction is preferred.
- OSHA certification and familiarity with safety protocols.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
