Job Description
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN networking equipment (switches routers firewalls VPN devices) in a large-scale environment (1000 remote endpoints)
- Perform in-depth network issue analysis using protocol analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark) and data capture interpretation
- Engineer configure and troubleshoot secure enterprise connectivity solutions using DMVPN IPSEC OSPF and BGP
- Work extensively with Cisco hardware and Cisco IOS software in complex TCP/IP environments including routing NAT/port forwarding and VPN management
- Support and configure wireless network equipment from vendors such as Cisco/Meraki Ubiquiti and Aruba
- Utilize network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Python Ansible) for network management and automation tasks
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting in a complex networking environment over an extended period (minimum 60 months of related experience required for all above areas)
