Test Technician
About the Role
Were growing our Test Technician team at our Secaucus NJ facility and are seeking dependable detail-oriented technicians to support system testing and troubleshooting on leading-edge technology products. This hands-on role is ideal for people with a passion for hardware an eye for quality and the ability to excel in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble inspect and prepare computer hardware for testing.
- Execute test scripts and procedures to validate system performance.
- Identify isolate and document hardware and software issues; escalate as needed.
- Track and report test results repairs and process improvements.
- Maintain an organized safe and ESD-controlled work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily output goals.
Required Background
- Education: Technical school diploma IT certification (e.g. CompTIA A/Network) associates degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience:
- Recent graduates with relevant coursework welcome or
- At least 1 year of work experience in hardware repair assembly IT support or helpdesk.
- Technical Skills:
- Computer hardware assembly and repair
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a production/test floor environment
