JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Maker I - Weekend Days
LOCATION: Savannah GA
PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

Summary:
Learn entry-level technical skills regulatory requirements and tooling used in aircraft cabinetmaking.
Prepare and fabricate furniture and wood subassemblies using standard safety procedures design/engineering drawings and materials such as laminates veneers and cap strips.
Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand track squawks and sign off completed work.
Comply with safety 5S and housekeeping policies; use PPE and protect aircraft interiors.
Assist in developing and implementing related process and safety initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read write speak and understand English.
Able to climb ladders/stairs work in confined spaces lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift.
Computer literate.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Experience:
Woodworking wood finishing or auto body/painting in a technical environment; completion of a Technical Certificate in cabinetmaking or a youth apprenticeship program in the area of expertise
