Job Description
We are hiring an Environmental Services Aide - FT Days for one of our clients in Geneva NY.
Job Description:
- Operates and maintains electrical batter and mechanical equipment in safe working condition. (Burnisher auto scrubber rotary scrubber vacuum cleaner etc.)
- Complies with established policies and procedures regarding Infection Control Right to Know and Personal Protective Equipment requirements necessary for protection against explore to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids chemicals radiation and other hazardous substances.
- Incorporates safety into all aspects of work. Uses wet floor signs properly.
- Responds to Emergency pages.
- Uses proper body mechanics i.e. ergonomics.
- Properly uses chemicals including usage and dispensing.
- Maintains assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition for patients residents guests visitors and staff.
- Cleans beds restrooms furniture fixtures etc. Refills supplies. Promptly removes trash and linen.
- Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Education required:
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience required:
- Preferred: Previous hospital housekeeping experience
Work hours:
- Environmental Services Aide (housekeeper) in the Surgery Center - Full Time
- Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- No weekends or holidays required!
- Full Time Monday-Friday in the Surgery Center 10:00 AM 6:30 PM.
- No weekends no holidays.
