Job Summary

Position: Release Train Engineer

Location: Alpharetta GA*Day 1 Onsite

The Release Train Engineer (RTE) will serve as a servant leader and Agile coach for the Cloud Product Team orchestrating Agile Release Trains (ARTs) across Cloud Cybersecurity and Platform Engineering. This role is critical to ensuring alignment transparency and delivery of high-value cloud solutions that support enterprise modernization and secure operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Program Execution & Planning
- Lead and facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning ART syncs and system demos.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ARTs using tools like Jira Align and Azure DevOps.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and ensure timely delivery of features and capabilities.
Agile Coaching & Leadership
- Coach Scrum Masters Product Owners and team members on Lean-Agile practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and servant leadership.
- Support Agile maturity assessments and drive adoption of SAFe principles.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Product Management Engineering and Cybersecurity to align priorities and roadmap execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ART-level escalations and risk mitigation.
- Facilitate communication across distributed teams and leadership stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain and visualize the shared backlog across Cloud Product Cyber and Platform teams.
- Track and report on ART metrics including velocity predictability and quality.
- Support compliance and audit readiness through structured delivery practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fields.
- 7 years of experience in Agile delivery with 3 years as an RTE or Agile Program Manager.
- SAFe RTE certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS) DevSecOps and infrastructure automation.
- Strong facilitation conflict resolution and servant leadership skills.
