Job Summary

A fast-paced and rapidly growing hardware distribution company is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join its Finance Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and review daily financial transactions including bank petty cash creditors and journals
Prepare and submit VAT EMP201/EMP501 and monthly management reports
Maintain accurate reconciliations GL integrity and supplier accounts
Oversee payroll processing and related compliance
Experience with Foreign payments and banks
Drive proactive cost-effective financial improvements
Liaise with auditors consultants and SARS on financial matters
Lead a small finance team and ensure timely task execution

Requirements:

BCom in Accounting / Advanced Diploma / B-Tech in finance (required)
Articles and industry experience (advantageous)
Proficiency in Pastel Evolution
Minimum 5 years experience as Financial Accountant or in a similar role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Interpersonal skills

Ability to create and implement processes
Ability to prioritise be proactive

Deadline driven-Ability to meet target dates
