Position Summary:
V-Tech Solutions Inc. is seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Clerks to support administrative and clerical operations in Washington DC. The General Clerk will perform routine tasks following clearly defined procedures to ensure smooth office workflow and accurate record-keeping.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification: None required
- Skills & Abilities:
Ability to follow detailed instructions and repetitive procedures
Basic understanding of clerical practices and office organization
Familiarity with standard office equipment (e.g. photocopiers fax machines multiline phones)
Basic computer skills for data entry and document handling
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and use judgment in task execution
Responsibilities:
- Follow specific procedures to complete repetitive clerical tasks such as coding and filing documents
- Post entries to individual accounts and departmental records
- Open sort and distribute incoming mail
- Calculate and post charges to departmental accounts
- Operate basic office equipment including photocopiers fax machines and mailing systems
- Use minimal computer programs for data entry and document processing
- Maintain filing systems and organize records
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned
