EDUCATIONAL TRANSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS:
Official educational transcripts are required for all post-high school educational accomplishments coursework or degrees claimed on the application. Applicants will be required to submit an official transcript prior to receiving a formal offer of employment. Failure to provide transcripts within 5 working days of being requested will cause the applicant to be eliminated from further consideration.

Unless required by legislation the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 32 Step 1 of the union (OCSEA) Pay Range Schedule ($30.55/hr.) with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($31.88/hr.) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

What Youll Do:
Investigate STI occurrence (routine or outbreak):
Conduct or monitor others conducting data collection (interviews medical record abstraction etc.)
Interpret and analyze data (e.g. cause spread etc.)
Monitor process of specimen collection delivery to laboratory and reporting of results for special study projects.
Conduct computerized statistical analysis (via SAS and/or other programs)
Produce and distribute/post reports including infographics
Forward or fill data requests as directed
Conduct and coordinate electronic data transmissions including electronic lab reporting
Tabulate & analyze epidemiological data using standard statistical measures (e.g. measure variability statistical significance of association incidence & prevalence rates)
Assist in development of database projects including database quality control
Ensure that data reported to the Ohio Department of Health is accurate and complete
Work collaboratively with public health professionals laboratories and health care providers to improve STI surveillance and reporting
Assist with training users on data systems used by STI Surveillance and with the development of training materials
Represent the team in meetings/conferences and make presentations to public health professionals and/or public
