The Vermont Department Of Corrections is looking for a Probation & Parole Supervisor for thier Springfield Office. This is supervisory and administrative work under the supervision of the Community Corrections District Manager including the planning delivery and evaluation of correctional services. Supervision is exercised over casework and security employees volunteers and contractors. Extensive liaison occurs with correctional law enforcement and service provider personnel. Oversees the development of work education housing restorative justice and criminogenic needs reducing programs.

High School diploma or equivalent AND five(5) years or more of work experience including three(3) years in the planning delivery and evaluation of correctional services for clients in a human services setting.
Supervisory experience.
Bachelors degree.
Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the accordance with AHS Policy 4.02 Hiring Standards Vermont and/or national criminal record checks as well as DMV and adult and child abuse registry checks as appropriate to the position under recruitment will be conducted on candidates with the exception of those who are current classified state employees seeking transfer promotion or demotion into an AHS classified position or are persons exercising re-employment (RIF) rights.
