Job Title: CNA or BHT - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Location: Montana State Hospital (MSH) - Must be registered in MT
Short Description:
We are seeking dedicated Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) or Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our overnight team at Montana State Hospital. Candidates must have at least two years of behavioral health experience with CPI certification preferred.

This position requires a compassionate professional who thrives in a behavioral health environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Shift Requirements:
Overnight shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Open shift availability preferred
Float pool assignments required
Must have prior experience in adult psychiatric facilities
Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills required

Job Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing oral hygiene dressing and grooming
Record vital signs collect specimens and assist in emergency situations
Transport residents to appointments and provide support as needed
Promote safety and apply crisis intervention techniques when necessary
Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with team members
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Montana CNA certification
Minimum 2 years experience in a psychiatric facility or behavioral health setting
CPI certification highly preferred
At least 1 year of prior travel contract experience strongly desired
Strong observation documentation and communication skills
Ability to build positive working relationships with residents and staff

13 Weeks
36 Hours Per Week
$11.00 Hourly taxable
$35.00 OT Hourly taxable
$304.00 Meals & Incidentals Per Diem (Tax Free)
$500.00 Lodging Per Diem (Tax Free)
$396.00 Taxable
$804.00 Tax Free
$1200.00 Weekly Before Taxes
