Come join our friendly team at Angel Hill Surgery!
Angel Hill Surgeryis looking for an experienced salaried GP or Partner to join our busy practicecovering 6 sessionsa week.
We are a S1 practice using a mixture of face to face telephone and e-consult appointments. The vast majority of our home visits are managed by our visiting ACP.
We are a cohesive and supportive team who work well together and enjoy each others company. The clinical staff meet every morning and afternoon for informal chat and tea/coffee. We organise regular social events in the summer and at Christmas involving all staff. We are also a Parkrun practice and have a presence at some of their events.
For salaried GPs we offer a competitive rate negotiable dependent upon roles and responsibilities patient list and share of on call commitments.
For partnership applicants we would offer access to practice accounts at an appropriate stage of the recruitment process.
About the Candidate
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
- Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
- Be on the NHSE medical performers list
- Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management and primary prevention and screening services;
- Ability to take responsibility for your own career development learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;
- Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines e.g. prescribing confidentiality data protection health and safety;
- Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
About Us
Angel Hill Surgery is a training practice located in the centre of Bury St Edmunds with a patient population of 14250. We have 5 partners5 salaried GPs and 3 ACPs as well as GP trainees. We are supported by our excellent practice nurses as well as a fully staffed dispensary and reception team. We are active members of the Bury St Edmunds PCN.
We are rated Good by the CQC and score highly on our QOF every year.
