Mechanical Fitter

We have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance team at the North Head Wastewater Treatment Site. In this full time permanent position you will be involved in maintenance and minor works projects at North Head - one of Sydney Waters largest sites. You will be maintaining essential infrastructure and troubleshooting a diverse range of mechanical equipment. This is a 10-year program of works offering job stability and the opportunity for training and career progression. We are ideally looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Fitter who is living within commuting distance of North Head Manly.

ABOUT YOU

• Certificate III or IV in Engineering Mechanical Trade
• Work Safely at Heights
• Enter Confined Space
• Provide First Aid
• Able to execute work tasks with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills

• Flange Management
• Elevated Work Platform
• Tubing & Fitting (Install/Inspect)
• High Risk Work Licence Dogging (DG) Competent in core elements required for the discipline and demonstrated experience in some site-specific tasks
• Leads reliability and performance improvements
• Trains and coaches other staff
