Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Regional Clinical Pharmacy Director:

Reviewing and documenting the accuracy of prescription drugs that have been received from the dispensing pharmacy
Accountable for executing quality assurance checks and documentation that prescriptions are filled correctly
Serve as a liaison between the dispensing pharmacy and the ADCCR
Identify and implement roles of inventory coordinators and pharmacy technicians
Establish continue quality improvement initiatives and will participate in P&T meetings
Maintain consistent contact with physicians mid-levels nursing regional site administration and client partners to communicate the pharmaceutical needs of all patients
Ensure seamless operation of pharmacy services
Serve an integral leadership role as HCV Committee member with the responsibility of identifying and addressing pharmacy-related issues related to HIV HCV HBV Mental Health Diabetes and Asthma
Consistently ensure health plans and daily operations comply with policies procedures and standards
Maintain accurate and updated records of pharmacy services therapy reports and pertinent information
Conduct thorough monthly and quarterly audits of facilities to ensure proper handling of prescription medication and compliance with state/federal regulations policies and procedures

Qualifications

Qualifications for the Regional Clinical Pharmacy Director:

Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited school
Unrestricted Pharmacy License in AZ
Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy experience; management of pharmacy operations experience preferred
A valid CPR or equivalent certificate
Strong written and verbal skills
Strong computer skills
