Your New Role and Responsibilities

The Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS) is a mission-critical suite of software applications that enables the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to effectively plan prepare execute manage and report on aviation operations.

The Test Engineer will support our customers technology where an overview of responsibilities includes:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategiesto validate system functionality performance and security for mission-critical Defence applications.
• Design implement and maintain automated and manual test casesacross unit integration system and user acceptance testing phases.
• Collaborate with developers system engineers and Defence stakeholdersto identify defects troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with Defence standards and security requirements.
• Conduct performance stress and interoperability testingto ensure system reliability under operational conditions.
• Document test results defects and risk assessments providing clear reporting and recommendations to support continuous improvement and certification processes.

What Youll Bring to Make an Impact

• Proven experience in software testing(manual and automated) within complex mission-critical or Defence-related systems.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools such as Selenium JUnit Robot Framework or similar.
• Experience with performance security and interoperability testingin high-availability environments.
• Understanding of Defence or aviation standards and security requirements including compliance with classified environments.
