The Arc of Litchfield County Inc. (Larc) is seeking professional kind caring creative and energetic Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full and happy lives. Spend your days positively enhancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing support in every aspect of their lives.
Whether it is a vocational/day program or a home setting (group home and in-home setting) you can make a difference. Create fun and innovative activities to share with supported individuals. The DSP position is hands-on. You will provide personal care including personal hygiene food preparation transportation and recreational activities such as going to the movies shopping concerts dining out etc. All at no cost to you you get paid to help the people you support HAVE FUN!
