Position Overview

This position will primarily operate rollback trucks. This is a local position working Monday thru Friday usually between 7am 5pm so youll be home every night. Were looking for someone with a Class A CDL license with strong communication skills and who takes pride serving the customer by providing the safe and efficient delivery of goods.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES*:

• Delivers and picks-up equipment bought sold or transferred from one point to another in a safe timely and efficient manner. Loads/unloads and ensures proper load securement of equipment. Follows all NMC CAT and customer-specific safety policies and procedures. Uses equipment and materials properly
• Communicates with dispatch and checks work order system regularly for pick-up and delivery instructions. Acts as liaison between internal/external customers and dispatch ensuring all necessary information is relayed
• Contacts customer to obtain location of pick-up or drop-off of equipment. Ensures customer knows how to operate machine
• Inspects and reports potential defects in truck and trailer daily. Performs basic maintenance monthly DOT inspections annually and upkeep as needed to truck/trailer.
• Maintains accurate daily DOT logs. Log all miles and hours driven throughout day. Provides weekly/monthly reports.
