Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with extensive expertise in both manual and automation testing of enterprise and SaaS applications. This role requires strong knowledge of automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca and Vera as well as experience with modern automation frameworks CI/CD integration and Agile methodologies. As part of a nearshore delivery model you will work closely with developers product managers and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality product releases.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Define develop and execute test strategies test plans and test cases for web mobile and API applications.
Conduct manual automated functional regression performance and integration testing.
Build and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium Cypress Playwright PyTest JUnit and TestNG.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab Azure DevOps).
Test RESTful APIs and microservices with Postman Newman RestAssured or similar tools.
Collaborate with developers to ensure defect prevention and early detection.
Ensure requirements traceability and acceptance criteria coverage.
Perform root cause analysis for defects and contribute to process improvements.
Support performance and load testing using JMeter Locust or comparable tools.
Mentor junior QA engineers in nearshore teams and promote best practices in quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
8 years of QA experience in enterprise or SaaS environments.
Strong expertise in both manual testing and automation frameworks.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language: Java Python JavaScript or C#.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium WebDriver Cypress Playwright Appium).
Deep knowledge of SDLC STLC and Agile testing methodologies.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA TestRail Zephyr qTest).
Experience with databases and SQL for backend testing.
Strong understanding of QA processes in CI/CD and DevOps environments.
Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written.
Role-specific Requirements:
Proven expertise with Tricentis Tosca and Vera.
Experience working in nearshore delivery models supporting US/European clients.
