In this dynamic environment we are looking foranambitious and self-driven Experienced Associate/Senior Associateto join our Tax Certificate team in Athens.
Conduct tax audit proceduresin accordance withPwCmethodologyand regulatory requirements
Prepare and issue Tax Certificates for clients ensuring accuracycompletenessand compliance with Greek tax legislation
Review accounting records financialstatementsand tax filings toidentifydiscrepancies or potential risks
Perform analytical procedures and tests to verifycorrecttax treatment of transactions
Prepare working papers and documentation to support audit conclusions
Communicate with clients to clarify issues requestadditionalinformationand provide updates on deliverables
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to the Tax Certificate process
Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensuretimelyand high-quality completion of engagements
Assistin research on tax matters and support the team with ad hoc projects
Supervise and mentor junior consultants providing coachingfeedbackand development opportunities to build team capability (Applicable to Senior Associate level)
What you bring matters
Relevant professional experience in Tax Audit External AuditAccounting or Tax Compliance
Excellent academic background from a Greek top-tier University in Accounting & Finance or Business Administration
Professional qualifications (IESOEL ACCA etc.) and Postgraduate Studies (especially in taxation) will be highly regarded
Solid understanding of Greek Tax and/or Accounting Legislation;Familiarity withTax Certificateprocedures(egAnnual Tax Compliance Report for S.A./LTD companies)will be highly regarded
Knowledge ofmyDATA along with experience using accounting softwaretoolsis considered an asset
Advanced computer literacy with proficient use of MS Office applications
A confidentcollaborativeand positive approach withstrong communicationskills when working with colleagues and clients at all levels
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
High levelof adaptability and readiness to respond to change with agility
Strong commitment to excellence delivering reliableworkand cultivating strong client relationships.
A proactive mindset focused on continuous learning and professional development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
