Job Description
kitchen areas and machine shop work areas in all facilities.
- Cleans all facilities floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming them.
- Uses brooms mops and vacuum cleaners as required.
- Cleans equipment in the machine shop area.
- Services cleans and supplies restrooms and kitchen area.
- Cleans windows glass partitions and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and sponges.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Uses and properly labels all chemicals
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 1-3 Years work experience
- Proven working experience as a janitor
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to meet physical requirements such as lifting bending and standing for long periods oftime
- Integrity and ability to work independently
