C3 AI has an opening for aFinance Managerlocated onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City CA. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the business driving financial insights planning and execution to support our growth. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills business acumen and the ability to partner cross-functionally with senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

Act as a trusted financial advisor to business leaders delivering clear insights to guide decision-making.
Lead business partner meetings by preparing reporting packages conducting variance analysis capacity planning and highlighting risks and opportunities.
Provide senior leadership with actionable insights through monthly P&L reviews KPI reporting and trend analysis.
Ensure budgets and forecasts are accurately reflected in systems of record serving as a timely source of truth.
Support quarterly and annual planning cycles including capacity planning expense management and headcount forecasting.
Provide strategic decision support across operating expenses headcount planning and ad-hoc analyses.
Own headcount planning and tracking:
- Partner with the business to assess and validate resource requests.
- Maintain tracking aligned with operating plans and forecasts ensuring a streamlined req process (approval tracking reconciliation).
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting reporting and financial systems by automating models dashboards and processes using Excel Power BI and related tools.

Qualifications:

BS/MS in Economics Finance Accounting or a STEM-related field; MBA preferred
3 years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance or; SaaS/PaaS experience strongly preferred
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis to diverse stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
Demonstrated success in consistently producing timely and highly detailed reports.
Team-player with demonstrated success operating in fast-paced high-growth environments
Proactive data-driven mindset with a passion for uncovering insights and driving improvement.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
