Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. seeks a Material Handler II in Carlsbad for a key role in supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Receive intercompany transfers with precision ensuring accurate SKU lot and quantity.
- Complete putaways in four different temperature zones verifying SKU lot quantity and zone.
- Perform moves within our facility maintaining strict adherence to our outstanding standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure world-class operational efficiency.
- Obtain PIT certification Forklifts and Man-up
- Accurately handle inbound purchase orders in accordance to the SOP ensuring proper documentation such as Certificates of Analysis and correct expiration dates.
- Process intercompany receipts and create shipment paperwork using WMS.
- Perform basic inventory functions including receipts put-aways in four different temperature zones verifying SKU lot quantity and zone. returns to stock (RTS) and inventory management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in material handling or a related field.
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Comprehend and meet same-day delivery requirements as needed by the business
- Follow Distribution Work Instructions (WINs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) consistently.
- Use the First Report system to document hazardous identifications (haz ids) and any safety-related incidents or concerns.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $15.85$23.77.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
