We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Executive to join our Export Commercial team on ourNorth and West Mediterranean trade lanes.

The successful candidate will support the Trade Development Manager to maintain and grow the Trade. Reporting quoting and analysis make up the main duties within this role along with maintaining databases and research to retain and develop new customers.

How you will help us and what you can expect

• Supporting the Trade Development Manager to maximize the growth of the trade
• Production of various weekly and monthly reports
• Complete analysis of trade/Intermodal/customer activities
• Quoting and following up all rate enquiries
• Supporting the Trade Development Manager in the retention of customers
• Maintaining all databases
• Build relationships with customer base and MSC Origin offices
• Telesales action to increase company profile
• Research in Industry and customer activities

Skills and experience youll bring to us

• Previous experience within an Import/Export environment is essential
• Previous experience of reporting & compiling statistics
• Ability to maintain high level of customer service under pressure
• Excellent telephone manners
• Time management skills required
• Strong telesales and negotiation skills essential
• Ability to always demonstrate a professional manner
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages essential
