Description

The Division of Occupational Health Services at Mayo Clinic in Rochester is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as part ofourmultidisciplinary team providing Occupational Healthcareto employeesand staffatMayo are seeking adedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join the Occupational Health Services team. This role is ideal for a confident autonomous provider witha minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. New graduates will not be considered for this position.

Responsibilities will include the ability to perform a comprehensive physical assessment; ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests; recognition and management of chronic and acute medical conditions;counseling for health promotion and disease prevention;and completing occupational assessment for on-the-jobinjuries and return to work addition the advanced practice provider will collaboratewith multiple stakeholders and leadersat Mayo Clinicto ensure employee occupational health and safetywhile overseeing the management ofemployeesthrough20 occupational health surveillance an academic organization all providers including NP/PAs will be expected to participate in education and research opportunities within the division.

Qualifications

Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification or eligible to be certified as a FNP or ANP.
Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.

BLS certification and DEA registration required.
