As a Commissioning/Qualification/Validation Project Engineer you will operate as part of a team that delivers new and modified systems that are safe functional and compliant with design requirements and regulations. This is a full-time 1stshift position that reports to the President and is in Indianapolis IN.
Primary responsibilities of the position include:
Work with the Reliance Project Manager to evaluate project scope of work and develop commissioning and qualification documentation that adequately tests equipment processes and facilities.
Ensure project documentation and testing complies with applicable policies procedures specifications and regulations. (e.g. clients policies/procedures/specifications ASHRAE CFR etc.)
Plan and coordinate project tasks and deliverables with the Technical Writer Project Manager Client and project team to deliver a successful project.
Execute individual tasks to meet/exceed project schedule and deliver within budget.
Use test equipment if necessary during test execution.
Resolve day-to-day issues that may arise to ensure project deliverables are met.
Gain technical knowledge of individual equipment and systems; apply knowledge to project work.
Proactively communicate with clients project managers and team members with professionalism and a commitment to quality.
Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure completion of all duties and tasks assigned.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to include health safety and welfare as appropriate.
