Job Summary

The BI Analyst serves as a data-driven problem-solver responsible for developing reports visualizations and insights to support business decisions across departments. This entry- to mid-level role focuses on extracting transforming and presenting data from the banks core systems financial tools and third-party platforms to deliver actionable information for business users.
Key Responsibilities
I . CDP System Administration
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the platform ensuring stability and performance.
  • Configure and customize the platform to meet the banks business needs including workflows
  • Perform regular system updates patches and backups.
  • Participate in discovery meetings to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  1. Data Management and Integrity
    • Ensure the accuracy security and integrity of customer data within the platform.
    • Enforce data governance policies including de-duplication and data cleansing.
    • Manage data imports and exports as needed for reporting and integrations.
  2. Analytics and Reporting
    • Design and deliver recurring and ad hoc reports for business units such as Lending Retail Banking Finance and Compliance.
    • Build dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or another BI tool to track KPIs (e.g. loan growth account openings NIM trends).
    • Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data from core systems and data warehouses.
    • Document reporting logic and assumptions for audit and repeatability.
  3. Data Infrastructure and Governance
    • Assist in developing maintaining and enforcing internal data governance frameworks and protocols in line with industry best practices.
    • Participate in internal audit readiness; lead or support periodic data reviews and remediation efforts.
    • Assist with the creation of data dictionaries report definitions and other basic data governance tasks.
    • Support data validation efforts to ensure integrity of source data and accuracy of reports.
Qualifications
  • 13 years of experience in a reporting or analyst role (financial institution experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Excel; exposure to Power BI Tableau or equivalent tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn the banking domain.
