As theLifestyle Assistant youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team and play a pivotal part in the planning and implementing of wellbeing activities for the residents of St Vincents Care Werribee.
St Vincents Care Services Werribee is a contemporary boutique aged care facility providing a high-quality haven of care within the centrally-located Wyndham Health Precinct. It is an 80 bed facility located 30km south-west of Melbournes city centre.
We are seeking people who are passionate about providing care that is sensitive to residents individualised needs preferences and choices and are committed to building strong meaningful connections with residents.

This is a part-time fixed-term role for a period of 34 months to cover staff leave. With opportunities for casual work after this term.
Availability is required on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Duties include:
Planning events
Bus outings
1:1 time with residents
Run group activities
Things that work for us:
Previous experience in an Aged Care setting (desirable)
Certificate III or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or diversional therapy (desirable not essential)
Understanding of Dementia and Behavioural Management
Strategies for managing behaviours in a positive and person-centred manner.
High level of customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (valid within 6 months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement for this role.
