Job Description

Job Title: Senior Actuarial Trainee BPA

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: London / Alderley Park / Edinburgh

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 22nd October 2025

Job Summary:Are you ready to take your actuarial career to the next level Join the BPA team at Royal London the UKs largest mutual life pensions and investment company. We are looking for a Senior Actuarial Trainee to work on exciting projects that will shape the future of our business. This role has arisen due to planned growth of our BPA Pricing team. and provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on the BPA market while supporting our continued success. About the Role:

  • Conduct actuarial analysis and calculations to support our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and regulatory submissions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Participate in project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development and maintenance of actuarial models.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

About You:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and tools.
  • Relevant actuarial qualifications or progress towards them.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience in the life pensions or investment sectors is a plus.
