British American TobaccoIberia has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Intern in Madrid
This role is part of the Finance department and will have to support the team with the monthly/quarterly statutory reviews reporting as per the local and Groups requirements.
The role is responsible forthe preparation of the accruals or necessary provisions follow them up; supports the yearly external audit liaising with the auditors among other tasks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support in month-end process during forecast and actuals review
- Ensure correct implementation of pricing and turn-over drivers in the system
- Deliver high quality financial information and advice for business units
- Developing insightful financial and commercial analysis showing the financial implications of decisions
- Assist in the preparation of business cases budget and investment proposals
- Support the development of strong financial and commercial awareness within business units and challenge business managers to improve performance
What are we looking for
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position (Experience in a Big Four would be an advantage).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite in particular of Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
- Oriented to work by objectives and achieve results.
- Openness flexibility and willingness to adapt to a changing environment plus managing multiple tasks in parallel.
- Ability to manage time limits and deadlines.
- Insightful comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty pro-active collaborative and consultative
- Bachelor in Economics or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English
- Advanced knowledge of written and spoken Spanish.
