About the Opportunity

Our Hotel Services employees at Menora are an integral part of our team ensuring our residents enjoy delicious meals and a clean-living this role as a Hotel Services Assistant you will assist with preparing and serving meals to our wonderful residents or cleaning residents accommodations and facilities to a high standard. We are currently on the lookout for a part time and casual team members looking to join our team working a variety of AM and PM shifts.

Duties include:

  • General cleaning
  • Vacuuming mopping and polishing floors.
  • Dusting polishing and general tidying.
  • Cleaning bathroom facilities
  • Refreshing bed linen and making beds
  • Involved in food preparation for our residents.
  • Serving meals and ensuring a friendly interactive experience for our residents

To be successful you will have

  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
  • Complete a police check
  • Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
  • Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
  • Sound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)
  • Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Highly efficient and motivated
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times
  • Knowledge of kitchen processes standards systems and equipment
  • Flexibility to work available shifts on short notice
  • Aged Care or Hotel experience in Housekeeping/Cleaning & Laundry
  • Knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes standards systems and equipment
