Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated empathetic and experienced in-person School Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis. As a School Psychologist you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students collaborate with educators and families and contribute to fostering a healthy learning environment. You will work in a school setting offering evaluation consultation intervention and prevention services that support students academic social emotional and behavioral well-being.

  • Responsibilities: conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students cognitive emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with educators parents and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and interventions to support students emotional and mental health needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address students academic and behavioral challenges.
  • Offer consultation and training to school personnel on strategies to improve learning environments and student outcomes.
  • Promote positive mental health through prevention programs crisis intervention and school-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from NASP-approved/accredited program
  • Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Prefer experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting.
  • Prefer knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
  • Strong skills in psychological testing counseling and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and diversity.
  • Passion for working with children and adolescents in educational settings.
  • Ability to work independently manage time effectively and adapt to changing needs
